…The Fairest Of All.

A few facts about Carly the hair stylist and the Carly outside of scissors, combs and curling irons…

It all started when I was a baby-playing in a playpen next to my mom while she did hair in the salon she made in our basement. From the very beginning of my life I got to see the ins and outs of hair, whether that be the art of creating beautiful hair or the art of building friendships and watching them grow. (although as a baby I probably just ate the hair off the floor, not really paying attention to the masterpieces my mother was making) I attempted college for a little while, not sure what I would be interested in studying. It wasn’t until I decided to step out of the mainstream world and jump into beauty school head first that I realized hair would be one of the biggest loves of my life. To this day I still enjoy taking coloring & cutting classes, learning about the latest products, and meeting new stylists that are traveling from all around the world sharing their stories. I love the ladies I work with and the opportunity to meet new people on a daily basis!

Even though hair is my life, there are some great aspects to my everyday that I couldn’t live without. For those of you that don’t know me, I absolutely LOVE cats. Yes I know some of you may find that disgraceful if you do not like cats (those of you who feel that way, we will have to talk if our paths ever cross) but I also love the company of animals. I have two cats and the cutest dog you have ever seen. Oh and she is the best frisbee catcher around! I recently moved to Fort Collins in January, after marrying my best friend Rafe. He is currently a grad student at CSU, which is what brought me to this lovely town. I love reading and the change of the seasons. The best part about being me…..I have the best family a girl could have. My happiness is due almost entirely to the people I am surrounded by.

If I don’t know you already, I hope I get the chance to meet you and hear your story.

  1. If I decide to return to Ft Collins, when I retire, I will definitely need a wig stylist. Your website came up after googling for “Wig Stylist” and entering Ft Collins CO location. Do you do wigs???????

  2. I have a stylist that’s great with color but never cuts my hair the way I really want. If you’re a good at dealing with problematic hair (straight, wavy and stubborn!) I’d like to give you a try. I’m in my early 50′s but like to keep up with current styles. What do you charge for haircuts and color? I have a lot of grey hair and like overall color with high/lowlights. Do you have a combo package? If you feel like you might not want to deal with me, just don’t send a response, I’ll understand. I’ll never make you feel bad about anything you do, just won’t return if I’m really unhappy. I also realize the first cut might not be perfect and getting used to my wants and dislikes is a process (for ex. I have to have long bangs). Thank you, Monika.

    • Hi Monika! I would love to help you. My cuts are $40 by themselves and an all over color with highlights and a cut is $130. And I am more than happy to work with you and talk about your likes and dislikes. If you have any more questions, feel free to call or email me. My number is 720.220.4893 and my email is carly.mcbeth@gmail.com. I hope to hear from you soon!
